Machinist

This apprenticeship will introduce you to numerous exciting tasks relating to metalworking. You will create precision components, adhering exactly to technical drawings and production plans created on CAD systems. Are precision and dexterity second nature to you? Then become a machinist.
On successfully completing the apprenticeship at EBZ, you will be introduced to possibilities that enable you to successfully craft vehicles in mechanical production.

This is what you learn with us: 

  • The fundamentals of machine and manual metalworking: Turning, milling, grinding, sawing, drilling, reaming, filing, thread cutting, cutting and forming

  • Creation, optimizing and checking of programs for CNC machine tools for milling and turning

  • Assessment and analysis of the technical feasibility of production orders

  • Planning of production processes with the aid of technical documents and taking scheduling, economic and qualitative specifications into consideration

  • Machining of production parts for projects from prestigious automotive manufacturers

 

Duration of apprenticeship:

3.5 years
Apprenticeship begins on September 1st
