Mechanical engineering/Automotive system engineering
This classic mechanical engineering study program is complemented by in-depth knowledge in the area of automotive engineering. You will gain comprehensive knowledge in design, conduct force calculations and receive optimum training in the creation of mechanical components while taking technical requirements and economic aspects into consideration. In addition, planning of production systems and active participation in project management are a further emphasis of your in-company training. On successfully completing your studies, you will be equipped to take on diverse specialized tasks in mechanical engineering.

Fundamentals of metalworking

Planning of production systems for the automotive sector and involvement in the preparation of technical tenders

Assessment of the manufacturability of systems and tools with simulation programs

Design of production systems, punching tools and forming dies for body in white with the aid of CAD programs

Participation in project management, including commissioning of systems in EBZ and on site at the customer’s facility

Preparation of practical dissertations, project work and the bachelor thesis in the product area
