Computer Science – IT Security

Corporate data is one of the most important production factors today. IT security and data protection play a central role when processing this data. A continually altering IT ecosystem means that ever more complex threats due to cyber attacks and the increased networking of hardware and software create new challenges that continually need to be faced here. During your Computer Science – IT Security studies, you will learn about the methods and tools need to react to these challenges. As a graduate, you are the link between the user and IT system and a central contact for the security and protection of corporate data.

Training and educational content at EBZ:

  • Fundamentals of programming, scripting
  • Advanced knowledge in the area of IT infrastructure and system architectures
  • Knowledge in the area of incident response and combating cyber attacks
  • Design and implementation of anti-malware and cyber security components
  • Methods and knowledge for the design and implementation of measures for checking current levels of protection in the entire IT ecosystem
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant legal standards
  • Involvement in internal and external audits for information and data security
  • Cooperation in (international) IT projects
  • Preparation of project work and the bachelor thesis in the context of special IT projects

  • Theoretical and technical computer science
  • Programming and software engineering
  • IT law
  • Security of corporate data
  • Secure production systems and cloud security
  • Network security and secure system architecture
  • Fundamental project management and business administration
