Mechatronics technician

As a mechatronics technician, your duties encompass the installation, commissioning and maintenance of complex installations, machinery and systems in plant construction. Tasks range from the setup of machines and interlinking of pneumatic, electronic and IT installations and systems to PLC programming. You will coordinate with upstream and downstream departments in this respect. This apprenticeship at EBZ will, on qualifying as a mechatronics technician, offer you the chance to successfully craft vehicles in plant construction.

This is what you learn with us: 

  • Fundamentals of electrical engineering and control technology

  • Programming of cutting-edge robots and optimizing of software and hardware

  • Planning, optimizing and control of workflows and evaluation of the results

  • Fault analysis and troubleshooting of faults which may be mechanical or electronic in origin

  • Independent production and commissioning of electromechanical production systems and fixtures for prestigious automotive manufacturers

 

Duration of apprenticeship:

3.5 years
Apprenticeship begins on September 1st
