Industrial mechanic

As an industrial mechanic, you will create production systems and fixtures, followed by their setup and commissioning. You adhere exactly to technical drawings and production plans created on CAD systems, paying particular attention to dimensional accuracy and function. This apprenticeship at EBZ will, on qualifying as an industrial mechanic, offer you the chance to successfully craft vehicles in plant construction.

This is what you learn with us: 

  • The fundamentals of machine and manual metalworking: Turning, milling, grinding, sawing, drilling, reaming, filing, thread cutting, cutting and forming

  • Creation and checking of pneumatic circuits and associated fault analysis and troubleshooting

  • Planning, optimizing and control of workflows and evaluation of the results

  • Creation, optimizing and checking of programs for CNC machine tools

  • Basic knowledge of the handling and programming of industrial robots

  • Independent development and commissioning of production systems and fixtures for prestigious automotive manufacturers

 

Duration of apprenticeship:

3.5 years
Apprenticeship begins on September 1st
